As a fertility goddess, Heqet is associated explicitly with the last stages of the flooding of the Nile, and so with the germination of corn, she became associated with the final stages of childbirth. It is through this image that my Poppet Pillow Heket was birthed. With a giant spiral on her abdomen representing the spiritual development of humans and the birthing of ideas. A large bosom to nourish our souls. Her shape resembles that of a frog sitting symbolizing transformation, fertility, purity, and prosperity for our future days.
